Says Coren, weren’t the Church’s fault;

But says extremes in its ambition

Lay squarely in the bankers’ vault. 

The Scientific Revolutions

Indeed had Catholic contributions;

And as for fighting in Crusades:

To take their homelands back from spades.

But most of all and most “compelling”

He says the Holocaust of Jews

Was fought against. That’s surely news!

What I don’t get is underselling

A problem (that leaves Catholics awed)

Is proving that there’s any God.
