ASTEROID 2005 YU55

When Earth had had its first encounter

With asteroid YU55,

It quickly took a body count. Her,

The Earth, had grown to be a hive.

It noticed, too, all man’s oppression

To fellow humans. Their aggression

Would soon destroy the planet Earth

And turn the bountiful to dearth.

Too late to make a course correction,

It thought about what it should do

To folks who didn’t have a clue.

Then thought it would make a connection.

“When I flyby again I’ll whack

Them good. Don’t worry. I’ll be back.”
