A politician by his nature
Will argue that it’s fair and square
When he perverts a legislature
And sells it to a billionaire.
For, after all, to get elected
Takes money else you’re disconnected
From power that, be well advised,
Has never walked around disguised.
It seems so but since your cognition
For politics plays absentee
But votes for idols on TV,
It’s freaky they still ask permission-
Since certainly you don’t know squat
Beyond what high school civics taught.
