CRONYISM

I am opposed to placing cronies
In charge of government and so
The Bush administration’s phonies
Should all receive the old heave-ho
Especially for their proclivity
For stunting human creativity,
Except when they promote cross-checks
On having safe, protected sex;
For arguing that toleration,
Equality, and gender rights
Should be confined to Brooklyn Heights,
As Indians to a reservation.
But cronyism’s here to stay
Just waiting on the Dem's heyday.
