The fact that we’ve a Constitution
That’s treated like the Sacred Heart,
Means that we’ll need a revolution
So that we get a running start
At being governed by democracy
Instead of by an aristocracy;
So small states in their gravy boat,
The Senate, do not have a vote
That’s equal to or, rather greater,
Than states with populations that
Won’t fit inside a cowboy hat.
The Constitution like the Seder
Should be passed over then rewrit
So we elect a people’s twit.
