If being Christian is no longer
Sufficiently defined by deeds
But argues that we would be stronger
If we weren’t strangled by the weeds
Of others whose denominations
Can only offer us vexations,
Then, Christians, I say unto you
We pull them out, Muslim and Jew.
There’s nothing like a little martyring
To set these heathen thinking of
Our Jesus Christ, the God of Love;
And stop them from their venal bartering
Concerning what’s a sin or no.
They all are worthy of death row.
